- For this project, I ideated, wireframed, and prototyped a seamless mobile onboarding experience that will be used by 200,0000+ agents across all Anywhere brands.
The goal of creating a new onboarding process was to provide new brokers joining Anywhere’s brands with a no-stress, streamlined process to complete all required tasks with as little help as possible.
In order to accomplish this, I focused on 3 things:
The first was to make each screen as straightforward as possible, meaning that each screen should ideally present the user with one task instead of overwhelming them with information.
The second focus was to keep users informed about where they are in the process and provide them with confirmation of the steps that they have already completed.
Lastly, I wanted to make sure that the copy on the page was friendly and provided a simple explanation of the task they were being asked to complete and why they had to complete it. Our user research showed that users expressed frustration over feeling like they had to complete “unnecessary tasks” or tasks that they might’ve completed already, such as creating a new password or verifying their information.
Below is a full prototype of the “happy path” version of the onboarding flow for one of the Anywhere brands:
